Q: one word to describe your marbella set?
VALE!
Q: what track from your set had the best crowd reaction?
honestly some of the best reactions were to my unreleased originals (which I'm going to have some announcements about very soon!!) if I had to name one that everybody knows, probably kiki by crusy. it's such a summer
Q: sunsets or sunrises?
sunsets. there's a magical stillness that sets in amid the bustle of everybody being awake. we saw one of the best ones on sunday - we actually went back to playa for their big sunday party and even through all of the craziness, people actually stepped out to watch the sunset. some of my favourite sets have been during the sunset too.
Q: what's your track of the summer?
Edge of Desire. hands down. instant vibe. SUCH A GOOD TRACK.
Q: which artist has been inspiring you the most lately?
i've been listening to a lot of Adam Ten recently. he has a really unique sound and is super versatile. it's dark and subtly impactful yet also really melodic at times, and he's blending a lot of cool jazz influences and basslines into his sound. his sets reflect this as well - they're groovy, a little dark, a little edgy, and tasteful.
Q: best part of marbella off-stage?
any point that I was eating. haha! in all seriousness, probably the first dip into the water on the first day there. it was a little earlier in the morning, and the water was crystal clear and calm. it was cold but we just jumped in and it felt amazing.
also going back to one of my favourite restaurants I had visited the year prior. their oxtail stew and basque boquerones are two of the best things i've ever eaten and i'll continue to go back just for that... and watching that crazy sunset.
